subway craze

now that i'm leaving uk soon, i suddenly miss subway. haha.. frankly speaking, the first time ordering it was just so stressful. i had to decide on each and single thingy. now, i have it down pat.;p

bread: i think they're all not bad, but hearty italian is still best.

sandwich type? chicken and bacon ranch is not bad. italian bmt also not bad. all sub-of-the-days are not bad (except tuna and ham sub, simply coz i could never bother to try them) - reminiscence of our winter trip where subway was the only place we could find to thaw with cheap food.

salad? gimme everything!

sauce? that's the deciding factor. i've loved chipotle southwest + honey mustard since first recommended by trish. really superb. since then, i've tried hot chilli + bbq (hmm... not for me), sweet chilli + mayo (on kelvin's recommended pizziola. duno spelling correct or not. i quite like it.), and sweet chilli + hot chilli + sweet onion (stealing some of hui yen's ideas for sauces. haha.. nice also!)

really love subway when they have the 4-7pm buy one free one offer. i'll miss this in malaysia. sob. especially when everything is times 5 or 6 times the price. sob. i wonder whether subway will be the same in malaysia? they seem to be the same all over europe, with maybe slight variations to the sub-of-the-days.

i'll miss my dark berry mocha too.... sob...
