boon koon and lin hui's graduation~

it was a very hot day. that's my deepest impression. haha..

no la, it was a very happy day, coz two of my closest friends were graduating.=]

alap and me went down to UKM first to grab some pics with/of lin hui, then with/of boon koon. however, since lh wasn't out yet, bk got our full attention. haha..


alap also honed his skills in using the 'pro' camera, as he likes to call it.;p


i like the bear bear. hehe.. it's just so soft and cuddly. gives the whole picture a softer edge to it. =]


but i guess alap apparently does not share my love for the bear. he was strangling it!! or flopping it around or whatever. sigh..


it was a really joyous occasion. the defining moment where all their efforts really paid back, the starting point where they embarked on a new chapter in their lives...

but of course, we didn't dwell on the enormonity of it all at that time. those are for when we are bored at home with plenty of time to go blogging. haha.. like me now.

anyways, one thing i love about graduations, apart from being glad seeing my friends and their families all so happy, is that it is the perfect time for me to capture their joy into pictures. pictures that i hope can portray their feelings even after years, pictures that can capture the essense of the moment.

as they say, pictures are worth a thousand words. maybe that's why my words have drastically decreased over the time i've been blogging. all replaced by pictures. haha.. but i digress..

on we go to see more pictures.=]





johnny came a bit later with his flowers. he looks like he's caught in the spotlight.;p



boon koon went around kepit-ing poor bear bear under her arm. looks like bear bear is enjoying his/her ride. keke..







and of course, not forgetting kee san, who always has the EYE for where the camera is.;p



there was this dramatic moment in our time there where lin hui suddenly asked... why johnny never wipe her sweat for her?? oh-oh... better hurry to placate her heart, johnny.;p

since alap couldn't go to kee san's convo, he had to take a replacement shot first. using bk's flowers and bear. haha.. looks nice. i like this pic.=]


finally, when i thought my sweat was really going to drown me, we went for lunch at this place near south city. not bad. the atmosphere was nice, the lighting was nice, the food not bad, and most of all, it was cooling~ i didn't really have apetite though, but really enjoyed the drink. sournade.. was it? i only know something -nade.;p refreshing, just what i needed. thanks pui chi for ur recommendation.=]



during the evening, we went back to bk's convo. and this time she appeared with yet another bouquet of flowers. haha..


we managed to get our group shot by bk's junior. thanks lots!;p


when the stream of ppl to take photos with slowly ebbed, we started doing some 'wu liao' stuff. that's just us. hehe..



with no photographer in sight, we resorted to 'big head' shots. not bad also la. haha..

finally, for our last meal together on that tiring but meaningful day, we went to a restaurant in equine park behind serdang's jusco. the food was really not bad, rm40 for 4 dishes 4-5 people. the thing i like bout that is that you could change the style or meat any way you wanted.


all too quickly, the day was over. congrats lin hui and boon koon. you've really earned your success. now, the next step is yet another new journey. as it unravels before you step by step, i wish you both the brightest and happiest future beyond your wildest imagination. gambate!=]
