and it was just 5.70 pounds per head. ^^
we had 2 sets of paella (spanish rice) with tons of tapas (small dishes of various food, including chicken, beef balls, spinach, prawns, calamari, egg, potatoes etc.) and also one gigantic paella! it was delicious. the helping was rather small though. desert was donuts with a chocolate fountain. the chocolate was so nice that the bowl was almost smuggled to the toilet to be licked. haha..

clue 4: the ravenous fiona suddenly willing to eat my cooking??
final aim? just to get me to go to the kitchen. in the end, they sang me a birthday song outside my room. it really was very unexpected. thanks so much guys! =]
the chocolate cake was very nice. we had a fun time chilling together too. it's been a long while since we got to hang out with alfred. thanks for coming all the way here! come to think of it, this was the first time i had any surprise celebration for my birthday ever. thanks for the lovely surprise. :)

Churros con Fruta y Salsa de Chocolate - crispy doughnut twists, served with strawberried, appple chunks and a warm chocolate sauce for dipping.
after coming back drenched by the rain and the crazy glasgow wind, i was surprised with a cake by fiona, karen, yi lyn, shu yin, soo fen, kelvin and alfred.=] the super blur me didn't even suspect anything... despite all the hints and clues dropped unintentionally (there goes my childhood dream of being a detective).
