sweet.. =]

First, was a trip to takoyaki sunway pyramid. we ate the octopus balls. it was simply delicious. i have been craving for it since time immemorial, the crave set in check by its pricey price for the three measly but delicious balls. i like the paper-like thingy the most, but don't know what they are. forgot to take pictures of it, so here's a picture of takoyaki, in case you were wondering, by http://whatieattoday.blogspot.com

Next, we saw this dragon beard candy made of peanuts weaved in honey. it seems it's very nice. hope to try it someday.

After that, in search of more solid food, we found this tiny korean restorant tucked in some corner near the ice-skating rink. the place looked quite nice. the ambience not bad.

we ordered the promotion for the day, rice with chicken or fish (rm9 each), and a strawberry ice cream with small chunks of strawberry inside. they provided 3 free side dishes, and free warm water. the side dishes were rather disappointing, since it was just 3 per table. the korean restorant i went to in seremban gave 3 side dishes per person plus 2 dishes on the house.

it was also a weekend with lots of new friends. hehe.. first of all.. the cute whales!

and after that, a cute bear bear! i bought it with the intention of giving it to a friend, then.. it was so cute that i couldn't bear to part with it. so.... after hugging it and mushing it and taking tons of pictures with it.. how can i give it to a friend as a present?! that's so impolite! right?right? it's mine!!;p

Big Apple Donuts!

simply delicious!! best i've ever tasted!!
you won't have lived until you try at least once! and then you'll never stop! buahahaha..

American almond - one of the nicer ones, i think. tasty, not too sweet. on the whole, not bad.

Banana rama - i didn't like this that much. the chocolate and banana taste just doesn't seem to fit in well together. tasted a bit weird to me.

Oreo - my favourite flavour. ate that two days in a row. not too sweet, the donut is real soft. simply makes you crave for more.

Mango tango - i didn't get to try this. but according to my housemate, it is really very nice. worth trying.

from left to right, top most row:
glaze - i think that's just ok.. a bit sweet.
kiwi - not bad. quite tasty.
chocolate - nice leh! chocolate can never be too far off.
chocolate banana

2nd row, left to right:
cheese - didn't really like it. it's a bit salty. hmm.. salty and cheesy? not for me.
oreo
peanut butter - another of my favourite! just nice! taste nice!
snowy - not too bad. just a bit sweet. i like it.

last two: glaze and almond.

ramblings from last night

061107

It’s late… I listen to the songs playing on my cd. I’m dubbing a tape from it to put into my car. It sounds good. Puts me in a writing mood. What am I doing?? I’m supposed to wake up early tomorrow to make sushi and carrot cake and cocoa jelly in preparation for my cousin’s visit on Thursday. And yet here I am… haha..

There are just 5 measly days left of my semester 4 holidays. I started this week diligently trying (in vain) to learn Japanese. It’s been on my holiday ‘to do’ list since dunno which semester. Yet I always seem to lose my enthusiasm for it the minute I think of doing it. Well, so I started… and I simply CANNOT remember the different characters. Sigh.. god help me.. hopefully I can squeeze in a lesson everyday even after class starts again. Hmmm.. doesn’t sound like a responsible student should. Hah.. it’s my last sem in Malaysia after all.

Time seemed to has flown so fast. It seems like yesterday when I was still working during the half-year break waiting for semester 1 to start. It seems like yesterday when I was still in Tunku Durah with all my friends. Sigh.. gosh, I sure am in a sighing mood tonight. Maybe that’s what late nights do. I will start my fifth semester in 5 more days. The thought of that fills me with impending doom, with dread… not wanting to be away from friends and family here.. afraid of what might change when I return..

Anyway, I digress..

The songs put an idea in my head to make a list of whatever I can remember. Weird right. Heh.. anyway, I suppose I should start. I have already crapped more than half a page.

the first song I liked, leading me on to listen to the radio.. – Sometimes, by Britney spears. She was real sweet back then. I remember hearing the song in Genting theme park with Grace (Hui Man). We were at some family camp in peacehaven, I think.

The first gassy drink I liked – well, actually I still don’t like gassy drinks. But that time when I enjoyed it most was in secondary school, when we girls would drink iced coke after PJK when we were all exhausted and breathless and dead thirsty. I would always drink with 2 straws. Hehe.. one of my weird habits. I think it tastes nicer. Try it!;p

The first time I cried buckets into my food – eww.. that was when we graduated in form 5. because my camera, containing precious photographs of my high school friends, SPOILED!! With all the pictures inside. Of people I thought I would not be seeing again for my entire lifetime. Okay, I know I’m being dramatic, but that was what I was thinking at that time. Well, at least I managed to salvage one very special one. ;p

The first colour I liked – blue I think. Since I was young, dunno why. Then it became purple, thanks to influence from john white’s books. At least I think so. Can’t really remember anyway. Now?? I suppose it’s pink. I don’t consciously make a decision. It’s just that one day I looked at my clothes hanging to dry at home in seremban (at that time I still took all my laundry home), and I realized they were all pink, in one way or another.

My favourite soft toy?? – the teddy bear, I suppose. My first teddy bear that I positively adored was one given by Aunty Meng Choo when I was hospitalized in standard 1. it was just so soft, with two hearts hanging from its neck. Now? Well, in a way, my taste in bears is the same as kee san: must have hair, soft, nice to hug, and simply capture my heart! Haha.. my dream bear… must be simply LARGE!! So that it can hug me. Hehe.. the pink bear I saw that day is down to one!! Somebody actually bought one. I wonder who the owner is, could it be a little girl, ecstatic over her new toy, hugging it to sleep everynight. Or maybe it’s a teenager like me, okay I just realized I’m already out of my teens, but anyway, a teenager reliving her childhood fantasies. Maybe it’s a boy, waiting to surprise a special girlfriend with it. Or maybe the boy could keep it for himself! Haha.. boys can like soft toys too can’t they? It’s a free world. ;p

What else?? I’m already out of topics. Can’t believe it… is this getting boring??

First time hospitalized? – well, that was in standard one, for suspected meningitis. They almost wanted to dig out my bone marrow for checking!! What a close shave I had. I’m so glad I didn’t know at that time. Imagine the pain! Anyway, in the end, amidst lotz of prayers, the doctor just gave me a strong antibiotic and it died out on it’s own. Second time hospitalized, was because I got bonked in the head by a basketball. That sound stupid right. Haha.. I think the precipating factor was the flower pot which hit my head when I fell.

Can’t think of anymore.. I think I better go to sleep. If not I wonder what my cousin will be eating on Thursday. Haha.. good night everyone!!

continuation of my list

071107

So here I am again while waiting for the sushi rice to cook. I got some more ideas last night before I slept.

My first attempt at knitting – I started with gloves. My first one was quite weird, the thumb part. When I got the bright idea to learn how to knit, I went online searching for lessons. What I got was so hard to understand. Thank goodness I found myself a ‘sifu’ just waiting to be asked – my dearest grandma!;p from her I learnt a lot, including the basics and the not so basics. Sadly, I have forgotten most of them, again. Well, yesterday, I shot a video of her in action!

First time I witnessed an accident – it was on my way to my second driving test. Yup, I failed my first one, the inside one. ;p I was thinking that those people sitting for the outside test that day was so lucky for not having to go out to town, instead they just went a few rounds around the labu road. Then this guy says: I’d rather go out than have somebody die. Wow.. made quite an impression on me. Hehe..

The first smile I fell in love with – literally. His smile sorts of crinkles up his face at the side, making him look as if he is very shy. Like a person blushing in a comic book. Hehe.. but I think it’s very cute. That was the first thing that caught my attention. Dunno was it this first or the driving incident first. Gosh, I’m getting sappy. Okay, next topic..

My first crush?? – okay, bear in mind. It was really nothing serious. Heck, I was in kindergarden at that time! And the guy had a gigantic mole on his face! I amaze myself sometimes.

My first home – it had a garden where we planted banana trees, papaya trees, mango trees.. my dad even had a tank there once, to rare fish to eat and to plant lotus. Strangely, the fish all died. We shifted 10 years ago. I didn’t want to actually, coz it was full on memories of my bro. anyway, it was for the better, or I would never have met and gotten close to my friends living near my new area.

My first dog, well, sort of – I named it Scotty. It was a white dog with black patches, had long hair and a long swishing tail. All in all, it looked simply adorable. It was a stray, usually following the madman living four doors away. One day I took pity on it and started feeding it. It came back every evening after that. Mind you, Scotty was having gardenia bread for dinner everyday. Wow.. anyway, one day, I never saw it again. My grandma, the maternal one, told me the madman had cooked it and ate it. Now, I think some people must have put it to sleep. That’s what happens to strays anyway. Sigh..

The first ice cream I bought with my own money – at the shop beside chan wa. I remember eating it with boon koon while waiting for our transport home. Felt so nice to be able to hang out with a close friend like that. Still remember it till today. =]

Do you believe that everything we go through makes us who we are now? I think so. Everything that has happened before made us who we are now. Coz we learn as we live. We change, sometimes for the better (hopefully), sometimes for the worse (hopefully not). Every decision that we made, whether consciously or not, leads us to where we are now. People we may not have met, places we would not have gone.. but the romantic in me still believes that if fate have decreed us to meet, even though things had been different, we would still have met, albeit under different circumstances, in another time. And we would still have memories to cherish, even though it may be different ones, but nonetheless still precious.

first 3 weeks fermenting at home~

1. I read the book ‘the undomestic goddess’ by sophie Kinsella finally. It’s really very funny and easy reading. I remember laughing all the way through it. Well, k la, not all the way, but most of the time. The author says things so funny. Her wit is simply amazing. I support the farm boy! Haha.. before that, I also read ‘final friends’ by Christopher pike. And what I have of the last vampire. i read the 3rd book, which has a cliff-hanging ending. What the!! And I don’t have the 4th and 5th book. Can’t find it anywhere. I think the publisher stopped supplying it, dunno why. In times like this I really miss my ex-royal classmate. Haha.. sorry dude.

2. Of course, I watched a lot of shows collected in my laptop. A great way to pass time.

>> 飞越彩虹 – a show with a lot of hip-hop dancing. That’s what I like most about it. Not to mention some great songs and lengzai actors. Haha..

the two heroes of the show~

>> heroes – really intriguing. Once you start, I don’t think it will be easy to put it aside. Coz you keep wanting to know what happens next.

>> Bleach! – this is simply great!!! Abarai renji!! So yieng. Haha.. but I still hope Rukia can go with Ichigo, coz the way they argue with each other is so funny. I also like Yachiru, a very cute and adorable lieutenant. She was so cute and so hopeless in directions that I began to wonder how come she could become a lieutenant. Then, one day someone pissed her off when she was watching her captain duel with Ichigo. Wow… then only they showed her power.;p

ichigo and rukia

renji and rukia

yachiru getting mad~

>> 我的外母不是人 – find it soso.. I like the girl actress playing the goddess. Very sweet. But personally, hong kong shows has never been able to capture my attention for long.

>> my boss my hero – this is really hilarious.. haha.. kept me laughing in fits. The first time I watched a show which I don’t think the hero as good looking. ;p

>> 地下铁 – this is one show which I only watched due to the appearance of lengzai 霍建华 (I thought was郭品超) and lenglui 林心如. But it has a sad ending. Haih.. how come the hero always dies?! Don’t you think both guys look alike?? I almost got confused between the two.

郭品超(left) 霍建华(right)

林心如 & 霍建华

3. went to one utama and ikea with my family. Tried the well-known curry puff in ikea. Find it so-so only. The stressful part was being the guide for my mum with my dad sitting behind. Sometimes it was so hard to get into the correct lane which led to the correct place. To go to ikea, we had to make 3 rounds. 1 due to overshooting the junction, one due to being on the wrong lane (a small side lane leading to one utama), and 1 being on the wrong lane leading to the tunnel and overshooting ikea. We almost went to puchong on our way back too. wow.. I never wanna drive there myself.

4. went shopping in midvalley (with mom), mines (with kee san and chee kian), terminal 1 (with kee san), and times square (with Fiona). Burned a hole in my pocket with stuff that, upon reaching home, made me wonder what I saw in them in the first place. Went handphone shopping with kee san too in terminal. It’s ok, I still love my phone. ;p

5. I managed to clear my computer of some junk and rearrange everything. Clearing a few GBs just by deleting repeated sources of the same song I have in my laptop.

6. listened to a few discs of the cultural mandate. Can’t find the mood to listen to it actually. So many more things I could do during my hols. Like rewatch bleach! Haha..

7. managed to find what I have looking high and low for for next year’s gift to a close friend. And quite happy with that. Hehe..

8. cooked a lot of porridge.haha.. ‘煲粥’ especially before local uni’s exam period began. After that, no time (them), no money (me).;p

9. started planning our next gathering. But so hard to find a common time that we can meet. Don’t wanna leave out anyone. But when??! I really don’t know..

10. made sushi together with my kakak. Went online to research de le. hee.. my favourite? Vegetarian sushi. It’s sweet, since it contains sweet potato. I also watched the making of ‘achak’, the recipe descended from my maternal granma.

on the left- tiramisu desert. middle- sushi. right-pizza (from pizza hut)

11. my paternal grandma got sick. And I realized how hard counseling can be, especially for old people. OMG.. how are we supposed to do that professionally and effectively next time to our patients? We won’t even know if they will practice what we teach.

12. went for Korean food at Restoran Korea with my mom and brother. Very expensive oh!! I almost pengsan when I saw the menu. But suddenly, so many small dishes appeared alongside what we ordered. I guess that’s how Koreans eat. The main dish is already so big! Most filling..

the main dish

the tiny dishes which mushroomed out unexpectedly

13. had some seriously sweet and happy moments too. (^.^”) and also sticking to a more consistent regime health-wise. Things are not always as bad as I think. I find things happier and smoother when I have a more positive and less whiney attitude. =]

holidays finally!

4/10/07

Finally exams all over… It was really a horrible week. Never felt so stressed before. The never-ending pile of unread material kept haunting me right into my dreams. And for HP and Biopharm 3, I only slept four hours a day, starting my day at 4am on Wednesday and at 2am on Thursday to study. Today’s Biopharm really sucked big time. Starting from the morning, panic had set in when I realized that even after reading again and again, the structures just wouldn’t stay in my mind. Then I started worrying bout the pulsincaps and oros. Then it was time… First, I got all muddled up bout the structures and couldn’t remember how to draw the structures. Then, there was no time!!! How to think and answer 8 structures and 20 MCQs in 2 hours?! Really hope everything turns out alright.

Anyway, back to more cheerful matters.

The weekend before exam week… total bliss. =]

Then the Friday before exam week… got together with seremban friends at A&W for suat yee’s birthday and had a really great time. It’s been a long time since we got together. Our surprise visitor – yong hao! It was a nice break from studying too, but made me miss them even more after that. Haha..
four lengluis..=]
me + boon koon~
yong hao and alap~
all of us together

entering the restricted area to tk pictures.hehe..
out of the picture is shong lap burried under all our bags. haha..

Finally… well, my holidays have officially started. Hurray to that! Tonight will be the first class event ever hosted. Dinner at KL. Should be fun!;p

Monday, September 24, 2007

Finally...

feel much better after two horrible days.
> For once, my thermoregulatory mechanisms are reset back to its original state so that there is no more pyrexia
>food ingested actually go through gastric emptying instead of coming out along with any possible acid reflux
>the tantalizing smell of food no longer induces my emetic centre to kick into gear
>digestive system and MMC complex functioning normally again
>and I realize that the 100ml of water required to prevent oesophageal adherence is actually quite little, I had wrongly visualized the amount as equivalent to a 500ml beaker full of water.

Plainly speaking, fever’s gone. No more vomiting – thank goodness!

However, the advantage of being in the sick role – exemption from normal responsibilities (studying!!) – is also abolished. But I don’t think I would trade my health for that.

Back to the grind stone… study study study … haiz..

study break~

i've just been home 4 days and have already followed my family to jusco 3 times on 3 different days. but it is very near, like our neighbourhood minimarket. haha..

it's like this... the first time i laid my eyes upon it i knew that we were fated not to be together.. it must be the most cutest, softest, biggest, sweetest, fatest and most adorable bear i've ever seen, just begging for a hug. aw... this is the type that you can hug to sleep at night and dream sweet sweet dreams and never catch a cold. haha.. of course, the price is very cute too. just RM140 only la, haha.. i almost pengsan. thought it would be at least below hundred, not that i was going to buy it anyway. after much work, i managed to take a picture of it, since i couldn't have it. haha.. there were two there, but one was continually smiling at the counter, so i couldn't possibly take a picture of that one. too obvious. :P i suddenly realised, other people blog so professionally about food and stuff. me? just soft toys. haha.. i bet only kids would love that. heh..anyway, so here it is. tadaaa...

my neighbourhood friend just begging for a hug~ so cute!! =]

Not forgetting my happy family waiting for me at home. hehe.. all with some special meaning to me. pity i forgot to bring my doggy back from vista to join in the big happy family.:p

my earliest present of a small cute bear by someone special. hmmm.. was it this one or that one? cannot really remember.. haha.. :p

Of course i have received lots more of other soft toys, mostly bears. thank you to all! really appreciate it. =]

friends foreva =]

i realised there are two friends i particularly like to bully.... especially when i'm in my 'sakai' mood. then they rise to the occasion and we will all be sakai together. haha..

and the list begins..

1. yin yin's boy boy --> ah Ong!;p the chief designer for the face hanging in my car. haha..

2. the owner of these toes... lol.. such a cute friend, who can serve as eye candy too. ;p very nice to joke with or tease.

rising of a great chef --> FiOnA :)

thanx to the packet of seri aji from the charity run goody bag, fiona and i ventured into the cooking arena once again. a simple mixture of sausages, chicken balls, french beans, eggs and our saviour the perencah yielded our tasty main course - fried rice!! haha..

next was fiona's tauhu... a modification from david's recipe. i helped to fry the shallots, burning them a lil' tho.. just shallots and oyster sauce to garnish boiled tauhu.

there was supposed to be a desert --> papaya soup. haha.. but we 'finished' it off in quite a different way which did not involve eating. that's because the seeds turned white. not quite sure what that means when it happens. kept too long oredy gua. ;p

a simple and satisfying meal which was simply delicious! :)

strawberries~

STRAWBERRIES!!

i didn't plan to buy any this week, since i would be going back for study break. as fate would have it, shu yin and kelvin were at the fruit stall with such delicious-looking strawberries when we went to find them. they are freshly plucked from cameron, or so the man said. 3 for RM10. we were thinking of how to split the 3 boxes when the kind-hearted seller offered us 4 for RM13. thanx to my rarely excellent mathematical skills which only resurfaced then, i figured that it was just 8cents cheaper per box. cheh.. in the end, my charming personality managed to win the man over for just RM3 per box. kekeke.. jk jk.

This is what's left after i ate half a box. hehehe.. all so sweet!

it's quite ripe. but really sweet. and i am seriously broke now. but anyway, i could never say no to strawberries. ;p

jalan jalan cari makan

thanx to the book of coupons by stefanie, we had a chance to try a variety of food in sunway today. but first, we had a choco top. haha.. too bad it wasn't as nice as the one i had in midvalley. the girl there obviously had a higher skill in making it. this one was a little sengek. but still not too bad.

the journey had just begun...

choco top!!

after surveying all the prices, we only managed to eat 2 cinnabon rolls each. but that was filling enough. now i know why they sell them so expensive. you can't eat much anyway.

chocolate and cinnamon rolls

we met shu yin's friend, chai ping, in the middle of our shopping spree. she was very nice and friendly. the more we talked, the more we had in common, and the smaller the world seemed to become. can't wait to see her at the next intake.

all of us became avid supporters of c.union. with me boria with fiona, shu yin boria with chai ping, me boria with shu yin. fun!;p

finally, dinner at kim gary. felt so stuffed. but i never learn. i ordered my all time favourite again.

mushroom and tomato soup

my favourite: with golden mushroom, kimchi, unagi, baby octopus... =]

hmm... quite big for a baby octopus. hehe..looks like an alien to me..

outside kim gary

now that i have finished enjoying and wasting all my time, i should really get down to studying shouldn't i?

imu carnival~

i had to wake up sooo early. almost regretted agreeing to run the 7km run. nonetheless, felt excited as well. we joined some warm up session by my fitness, i think. then the run began. we managed to make it in 1 hour and 15 minutes. i felt so lucky, coz we managed to get the t-shirt jersey sponsored by hong leong bank, finish the run, and get the goody bag. haha.. not that it contained much, but still, haha..

we went back to bathe, then reached just in time for the fashion show. all of them were just great. the girls so pretty and the guys either funny or 'yieng'. good job!;p then we discovered the 2nd hand books stall. and i went crazy when i saw all the pike books there. RM2 per book!!! i managed to buy the last vampire book 1,2,3 and 6. missing 4&5. haih.. i also bought final friends book 1,2,3. hahaha... bought a hardy boys book for my bro too.

then, saw my mentee's stall, and proceeded to buy a pair of cute 'devils'. in the end, i spent all my coupons on two mashed potatoes by mustaqim they all, 1 pearl tea, a set of keychain made from flour, hmmm.. what else? oh ya, we went for cooking lessons by Mr. mudassir anwar. also saw my tutor, Dr. Ignacio cook his spanish taco, tortilla de patata. simply delicous, but quite oily. most important of all, it was free! hehe.. courtesy of Dr. Ignacio. also tried the vadir by the indian lecturers. and went to the haunted house while taking care of the st. jerome kids. i had to carry a little girl all the way though, named Jacinta. the kids were so scared. me? i couldn't really see anything beyond her head. it was fun though. haha.. however, we missed seeing Dr. Kang and Prof Peter getting dunked. haiz..

the cooks aka lecturers

a pakistan desert - gulab jamun

i don't know what others thought of the carnival. but to me, it was a success. a joint effort of the students and lecturers. a vision to help orphans which became a reality.

sakai destressing day full of food =]

Biopharm3 had been my nightmare for the past few days. me and fiona broke our record, studying until 2or3am for 2 consecutive days, becoming zombies in the day and sleeping like babies at night. haha..;p the sunday before the test, we actually went to this cell group dinner all done by the working folks. we could really see how much effort they put into it..and the food was absolutely scrumptious!
fruit salad and tofu by david, fish by derek, fish kuah and dal chicken by derek's mom, kajang satay (really very nice, first time eating it), nougats by alice~

oreo cheese cake by stefanie with E9 on top... can you see it? really delicious. must get recipe from her!!

finally! the exam was over today. i discovered that i made some stupid mistakes and some not so stupid mistakes (due to a wandering eye which happened to skip certain important parts in the module which were, as i know now, important.haha..)

one bad thing that happened to me was that i terkena some virus from msn. i knew that this thingy had been circulating around for some time. but, well, i got careless i suppose. my mistake. so now i'm figuring out how to kill it off. wait till i get to you, you evil slimy scumbag virus! gah...

so today was destress day! hurray!

me and two wonderful friends went to midvalley after class, since group c NO CLASS! hohoho... it was such an unexpected treat to finally get to hear a certain someone converse in mandarin.;p then once there, i managed to find the most perfect thing i've been looking for. haha.. secret.. *shhhh* thanx shu yin and kelvin for helping me to choose. it's the best!really!i agree wholeheartedly!=]

i also managed to buy two gifts, with the help of my two trusted pals, one for appreciation, one due to obligation. lol.

see the difference? lol.. but i love the way the bigger one is wrapped. nice~

then we went on a feeding frenzy, gobbling up all sorts of free food and drinks. hehe.. we the creative and innovative people of the new generation have our ways. those that i liked the most were the pohpiah (two wei~) and the cuttlefish snacks. haha.. sad to say, we exhausted more saliva compared to what we actually drank.;p sakai betul.. and i found out that i really really love mcdonald's CHOC TOP!! it tastes like magnum with all the delicious vanilla inside.yummy..;p

kelvin's water bottle. cool right..=]

i almost went sakai when see all the nice cakes.. got boon koon's genes oredy.haha..

cute right? i saw this at carefour..

all in all.. a very nice outing! =]

lucas scott once said...

As happens sometimes a moment settled and hovered
and remained for much more than a moment.
And sound stopped and movement stopped
for much, much more than a moment.
And then the moment was gone.

Merdeka day

everything seemed to work out perfectly. even though time seemed to be running short, there was just enough time to cook and eat a scrumptious breakfast (toast with sardine, bake beans&egg, soya), rest, cook and eat lunch (my version of hakka mee-this time not too salty, leftover jelly), load spiderman3 and burn it, iron and fold damp clothes, drive all the way there, somemore managed to detour to the bank at petronas, then i practically flew home, good thing there was no jam. i reached the carpark at 4.29pm. just one minute left to run to vista B. haha.. one sad thing... there was no fireworks to be seen that night. haiz...

then, well, it was time for emerge!!

the finals for playstation quickly escalated into a typical football match between instar and MU. i could just hear all the guys become alive. haha.. MU lost by the way. ;p this time, for me at least, the focus was not so much on the activities, but rather, the powerful and touching sermon by pastor Kong bout jacob wrestling with God. I felt so happy when the clap-o-meter reached 100, like it should have. Sidney mohade lead us in a song again, very cool when he used the loudspeaker. nice song, but my arms got quite tired. haha.. i can safely say that this has really been the best emerge session ever! even better than the first day!

after a touching finish where all of us joined hands and sang a song bout friends being there for each other, i was cornered by the video crew to say my feelings bout emerge. i think i let derek down terribly, coz all i could say was, "umm.. emerge... very good!" gah! you should have just seen the look on his face. sori derek!

so back we went, dead tired. and here i am now, dead tired and with a sore throat. it was quite sad to keep the 'boudoir' we've been using these two days alone this morning. coz usually it is a joined effort. ah well, biopharm3 calls. so... sipping my 'Finish annecdote' for sore throat, which has miraculously healed, biopharm3 here i come!!=]
