Singapore trip - yet another backdated post

we met at the train staton full of excitement for our very first trip out of the country. hehe..




the next morning after a very cold and uncomfortable trip (next time by hook or by crook must buy those with beds), we finally reached singapore. =]

first stop was sentosa island - images of singapore...



this fella was really convincingly super fake. i even poked him a few times and it felt like cushion for legs and rubber for skin. fake wan la i exclaimed, then he suddenly said hi!

another of the events we went was lunging. it was really fun. hehe..

and came together with a cable ride back up to the top of the hill. so cool~








finally, i managed to see the sentosa wordings for myself. it didn't let me down.


at night, we went to hear the songs of the sea. it was really spectacular indeed~

and ended with an array of fireworks.

for dinner, we had the honour to try the s'pore fried prawn mee thanks to lip kian.

we finally ended our night at clark quay.


next day, we roamed the streets of chinatown.


lunch was a treat by lip kian and his lovely wife. nice meal~ loved almost every dish. esp the chao li li, the crispy tofu with mayo (salivating now!!!), and the chicken. thanks so much for your hospitality!=]

it was our fifth aniversary celebration for circles. hope our friendship stays strong foreva.=]

plan for today

finish up antibiotic level report - partially check

make morphine syrup - check

do ward inspection - check

return back inspection forms to ward - partially check. oops, uncheck .. coz i ran up to 4 wards to give them back, then realised i forgot to photostat them first. sigh.. tmr need to chase after another form still.

have a great dinner and go pasar malam!! - check now.

never confirm properly, sendiri blur blur of the facts, then bring all of us plus those not in the wrong in to be scolded by the biggest ever boss. end up is just to use us as an example to all others. then we being scolded as if we were those who made opd a mess to the docs, as if we were the ones who missed night call.

kena teruk la. being threatened to have the year extended. being scolded why duno how to follow instructions. blah blah blah. end up after that only realise that is their own system's problem, somemore wana twist and turn their own words to back themselves up and say we duno how to read. say we shud come to them first if got any problem. gah! how can we when it's our first time? we don't even know what we did wrong when we the 'good' girls as we were called were round up like cows into THE room. did they come to us first when got any problem? noooo.. it was..'i don't wana hear ur excuses. go tell xxx urself'. why? coz life's not fair that's why.

day 3 in office. already getting a full blast of politics.

research horrors

it's like this...

we had a research topic.. we thought it was hard, big boss thought it was hard, everybody thought it was hard to implement.. hence we put out heads together and came up with another topic.

then suddenly, big boss likes the new topic. hurray. but big boss also thinks that old topic is do-able suddenly. and big boss somehow neglected the fact that both topics were by the same pair, and submitted both to jkn. double shit.

so now i have two researches to do.

2009 HTJ prps sing k session

Venue: room 38 and 43 greenbox jusco

Projected outcome: no counselling will be done tomorrow.


really had a great time though. hehe.. it was really a 'let loose' session, where everyone just about sang their hearts out with really no inhibition. and had a whale of a time. at the end part, we were jumping around, with arms swinging with invisible fluorescent sticks, and acting as drunk as if we had just downed a couple of pints.

and my happiest was that i had finally '开声'. all and any song was achievable. the plus point was we were having too much fun to care, really. haha..

really blown away by this christian film. never imagined that a christian film could be so nice to watch! insightful. touching. and with cool music. really feel so proud of the church. keep it up!

first makan with colleagues - yet another backdated post.

we went to try seremban's thai food, which i've been to i think 2 more times since then. the food is really not bad. hehe.. and the mango salad thingy is the nicest appetiser ever. be sure to try that. and i so love the padthai and oliang. haha..




it was very fun to roam the pasar malam streets after dinner. something i haven't done in a long long time. plus, the company was great. time passed all too soon.


we went back to stacy's house after our little outing and had more laughs back there. gosh, i can't wait for our next makan together. haha.. and then i think i'll update my blog sooner. writing bout it after so long seems to take the oomph out of whatever i wanted to say. nvm, next time next time...

moonlight celebration of 2009

we wanted to be kids once again. what more is there to say?








it was a wonderful night. where i was a kid again plus had a bunch of really cool friends playing with me. hee..
